WASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s National Chamber Foundation, along with lead sponsors Capital One and NBC 4 Washington, will celebrate the two-year anniversary of the Hiring Our Heroes program with “Hiring Our Heroes – Washington, D.C.,” a hiring fair for veterans and military spouses. More than 100 employers are expected to participate with jobs available for veterans and military spouses of all ranks and levels of experience.

Since its launch in March 2011, Hiring Our Heroes has been able to help nearly 100,000 veterans and military spouses find meaningful employment. Thus far, more than 800 businesses of all sizes have pledged to hire 214,000 heroes toward this goal.
