‘Patriot Run Across America’ Seeks to Raise One Million Dollars for Wounded Warrior Project by Running from San Francisco to Key West in 80 Days

November 17, 2011 – Sarsota, FL- The Patriot Trust, Inc. today announced the ‘Patriot Run Across America’ (www.patriotrunacrossamerica.com/) a 3,177.74 mile run across the United States starting March 1st, 2012 led by ultra-marathoner John Pyle of Sarasota to raise one million dollars for the Wounded Warrior Project™. The Patriot Run is organized by the Patriot Trust, Inc., a non-profit organization formed in 2011 to aid American servicemen and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The Patriot Trust, Inc. has gained support to begin this challenge and is currently seeking major American brands to sponsor the Run. Support needed includes funds, transportation (motor home, support vehicles, fuel and airfare) lodging, food, water, running supplies (footwear and apparel) and medical.
John Pyle, who is well-known in the ultra-marathon world for his ability to carry and hold high an American flag for the duration of a run, will be joined by local runner and marathon groups in each locale the Patriot Run transits. This provides a great opportunity for Patriot Run corporate supporters to reach an enthusiastic, patriotic and athletic demographic.
