Noted investor and philanthropist Paul E. Welch of Sarasota, who has provided the startup funding for the Patriot Run, stated that, “I am impressed with how John and his team can leverage the impact of their efforts through the Patriot Run to bring significant support to the Wounded Warrior Project above what could be done through just soliciting contributions. John is making a huge effort to generate much-needed support for our veterans who have sacrificed their health and well-being, and as a private citizen I applaud and support this effort. I hope American businesses recognize and support the Patriot Run as well.”
