Don’t forget about the annual 2014 National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic, this coming March 30th through April 4th!
Each year more than 400 disabled Veterans gather in Snowmass Village, Colo. for the event. The annual rehabilitation program is hosted by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Disabled American Veterans (DAV), and showcases winter sports and activities available to injured Veterans.
Of particular interest is the connection to the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. Multiple members of the USA national team began their journey to the Paralympics at the Winter Sports Clinic, and there are some really compelling stories to be told.
