Landover, MD, April 1, 2013 – HeiTech Services, Inc. announced today that it will sponsor the third annual Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium (VETS2013). VETS2013 is a unique opportunity created by veterans for veterans and has the goal of providing the knowledge and relationships needed for veterans to transition into business owners servicing the federal government. VETS2013 will take place June 10-13, 2013 in Reno, NV.
VETS2013 will offer classes, seminars and speakers sharing knowledge on the most effective ways of creating and maintaining relationships with federal agencies and prime contractors. It will also serve to educate mid-tier contractors about thoughtful ways to grow their businesses and best practices in mergers and acquisitions.
“If you are a veteran entrepreneur in the federal contracting industry, make attending VETS2013 a priority,” said HeiTech Services President and CEO Heidi Gerding. “VETS2013 provides attendees the necessary tools to build lasting relationships and understand how to take full advantage of the federally mandated contracting opportunities set aside for veteran-owned small businesses.”
VETS2013 is hosted by the National Veteran Small Business Coalition (NVSBC). The mission of the NVSBC is to ensure that veteran businesses are given first consideration for federal prime and subcontracting procurement opportunities because these owners continue to serve their country, putting the security of the United States above all else. Gerding is a founding member of the NVSBC and serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors.
