LaVon Stennis WilliamsThe Veterans Enterprise is excited to announce our newest contributing writer, LaVon Stennis Williams. She will be contributing her reports and thoughts on diversity inclusion within the military and for the African-American community in general, as seen on our sister site The Black Perspective.

LaVon Stennis Williams uses her skills and experiences  to help under-performing businesses and individuals to overcome challenges by transforming their thinking, personal and business identities, and actions into successful and sustainable outcomes.

Stennis- Williams is a native of Omaha, Nebraska, and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Juris Doctor from Creighton University. She has also received extensive training and certifications as a civil rights investigator and diversity trainer, and has served on both state and federal civil rights enforcement and advocacy agencies.

Stennis-Williams, a former Civil Rights Attorney, trained mediator, and Life Coach, knows firsthand the skills needed to overcome challenges in order to reconnect to success. After experiencing a career-ending setback, she rebounded to form several successful business enterprises which include LSW Strategies, personal and business development consulting company. 

LSW Strategies works with business, non profits, and individuals to identify barriers that may be hindering their success, and then works with the client to develop and implement best practice strategies to now only overcome the barriers, achieve maximum success. She often relies upon her civil rights experience in helping businesses and individuals address and resolve civil rights related conflict.
